Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MatchNight("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and venue owners.

2. Description of service

MatchNight is an independent sports watch-party discovery platform that connects fans with venues hosting live sports screenings. We do not organise, host, or broadcast any sporting events. We are not affiliated with any sports organisation, broadcaster, or tournament organiser.

3. User accounts

Venue owners must create an account to list their venue. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under your credentials.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. MatchNight reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these terms.

4. Venue listings and content

Venue owners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including event details, entry requirements, pricing, and contact information. MatchNight reviews all venue submissions but does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party content.

You must not list events that require broadcasting rights you do not hold. MatchNight does not provide or facilitate the acquisition of broadcasting licences.

5. RSVPs and attendance

RSVP data is collected on behalf of the venue owner. MatchNight does not guarantee admission to any event. Venues are responsible for managing their guest lists and may modify, cancel, or restrict events at any time. MatchNight is not liable for cancelled or modified events.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent venue or event listings
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without permission
• Impersonate any person or organisation
• Attempt to circumvent security features of the Platform
• Spam or harass other users or venue owners

7. Intellectual property

The MatchNight name, logo, and Platform design are the intellectual property of MatchNight. You may not use our branding without prior written permission. Venue owners retain ownership of content they submit but grant MatchNight a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MatchNight does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that event information provided by third-party venues is accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchNight shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or reliance on any venue or event listings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
